You are cordially invited to the closing symposium of the 2017-2018 UAUCU\/\/UU student research exchange program on April 19th, from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the aula of the University of Aruba (UA).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/td>\n<\/td>\nStudents from different disciplines will present the – preliminary – findings of the research they conducted in the past months.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

From January until April, a group of students of University of Aruba and University College Utrecht have been collaborating in a multidisciplinary research project. The research interests of the students are diverse but show a common interest in sustainable development in small island states. The students will each give a concise engaging presentation on their research and will engage in discussion with the public. The research papers will be made digitally available on the day of the symposium.<\/p>\n

The symposium consists of three parts; the first part from 3:00 PM \u2013 4:00 PM focuses on economy, enterprise and policy; the second part from 4:00 PM \u2013 5:00 PM focuses on environmental sciences and the third part from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM focuses on culture, belonging and resilience. It is possible to attend only part of the symposium, there will be a break between the sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
